In a Catholic home, she was brought up in the Manhattan's Upper East Side. In order to avoid being a victim of the system, her parents were enrolled at the Convent of the Sacred Heart a prestigious and religious school. When she was little she was a lover of music. She learned how to play the piano from a young age and composed her first song of original composition at age thirteen. She has participated in many open mics. Her top artists of choice were David Bowie, Madonna and Michael Jackson. She was a student in the Tisch School of Art of New York University after completing her high school education. However, she didn't finish her studies she abandoned and began her own musical career.
